Both Skier and Rider, Matched in the Open are each required to enter the Draw for 1 run. Open Skiers may not Match twice, but may sign up for an additional Draw run in the Open for $40 per run, and un-Matched Riders may register for two Draw runs with the same horse. No horse shall run more than 2 times in a day.

Sport Division: $80 Entry Fee per Team/day - Rules 2021 For Sport!! Only Matched Teams will be entered in the Draw. Skiers and Riders may Match up until Registration is closed, however Skiers with no prior experience must enter the Snowmobile Division in order to be eligible for a horse run. Once eligible, it is also in a new Skier's best interest to promote their experience with the Riders at Registration who are seeking a Match for their horse runs. Any Skier without a Matched Team will ski behind a snowmobile after all the horses have run. Sport Skiers may not Match twice. No horses shall run more than 2 times in a day.

Snowmobile Division (NEW 2018): $40 entry fee/day, 1 run on the Sport Course, approximately 32mph, all same rules & penalties apply, and all entry fees collected in the Snowmobile Division will be paid out to the winner(s). No snowmobile shall run more than the total number of Skiers in a day.

  • Match Teams are allowed as follows in the Open division: Skiers - 1 run, Horses - 1 run, Riders may ride 1 time Matched on different horses if they bring more than 1 horse.

  • Draw teams will be chosen by random draw at registration each day. Match Teams will be drawn at random for position each day along with Draw Teams. Sport Division is 1 Match and 1 Draw Only.

  • Match Teams and Draw Teams will compete for same monies as one race in each division.

  • Horses are limited to (2) two runs maximum per day.

  • Horses in Open cannot 'jump' to other Divisions. Sport horses can run in either Sport and/or Legends. i.e. One Match run in Sport and 1 Draw in Legends.

  • Rider may ride any number of times, including twice on same horse.

  • Riders may ride in different Divisions as long as a different horse is used in each Division.

  • Skiers in either the Open or Legends divisions may enter for more than one run, depending on number of horses.

  • Skier may ski behind same horse twice in same day depending on the results of the draw.

  • Skier must use a baton to pick up rings. (Baton & Rope will be furnished)

  • Skier must have hold of tow rope across finish, otherwise team is DQ'd.

  • A Skier who "jumps" the start gate, and does not start the clock will not be allowed a re-run or re-start. Team is DQ'd.

If rider chooses, they may leave the start area before the four minutes are up and calm their horse. Rider & skier will be allowed one restart when their name is called again.
